I am currently working as a UX Designer for Heritage Auctions in Dallas, TX.  My responsibilities include assessing legacy applications with various teams company-wide, doing user studies, then conducting a user-based and inclusive design process.  I create wireframes using Axure, conduct user testing using prototypes, and finally seeing through the development, release and training of more efficient, friendly, secure software solutions for internal use.

As a freelancer I have worked on projects ranging from character design, mural painting, layout and graphic work, animation and interactive work, to laser engraving, sculpture and carving.

I am working on illustrating a children's book, as well as preparing to showcase my work in Los Angeles at Blythecon LA 2018.

​

I was the featured artist at Blythecon 2015 in Chicago, IL.

 

My work was published in the Fall 2014 and Fall 2015 editions of Peephole Magazine.  I wrote, illustrated and brought to a finish a fully interactive children's book for ipad, called Molly and Midge. I have a BFA in Digital Illustration and Interactive Arts at Academy of Art University.

My major was Illustration with a heavy focus on digital and interactive art, but I have taken a specialized route that allowed me to expand my skill set into painting, animation (both traditional and digital), 3D printing, sculpture, jewelry and metal arts, interactive work, advertising, and laser cutting/etching.

I have additional work experience as a Kindergarten/1st Grade Daycare Teacher, a Sales Associate, a Receptionist, and a Spray Tanning Technician.

I also developed and executed the art program to children grades K-5 at Young Ivy Academy Daycare in Pleasanton, CA from 2009-2011 (as well as teaching K-1).  The program I developed is still in use there today.
