"Lighthouse" is a 60"x 48" original acrylic painting on 1.5" depth wrapped canvas.

For centuries, lighthouses have represented a longing for a sense of home, and the warmth and comfort of homecoming.  When undergoing a transformation of self, that longing for a sense of home in your own mind, body, soul, and environment is natural.  One might lose themselves in the sea of their own introspection, searching for their personal shore.

 

But like the tide, our sense of home and security ebbs and flows.  Lighthouses fade in and out of focus as we grow, change, and adapt.
